Published by Jan Steven van Esveldt Holtrop, Amsterdam, 1810. The publication assembles studies after celebrated seventeenth-century masters intended for artistic training. .

Biography engraver: Jan van Almeloveen (1656–1684) was a Dutch etcher, painter and physician active in Amsterdam. He produced a distinguished series of landscape etchings that combined Dutch scenery with Italianate influences, earning lasting recognition among collectors and print historians.
