This attractive print was originally published in 1653. This plate from the Ottens ed. c.1720.
Provenance: Owner stamp on reverse JHH in oval of Justus Hiddes Halbertsma (1789-1869) (Lugt 1473).
Biography engraver: Karel du Jardin (Amsterdam 1626-Venice 1678) was a Dutch painter. He is best known for his Italianate landscapes.
