Biography engraver: Richard Earlom (1743-1822) was an English mezzotint engraver known for his refined tonal work. He collaborated extensively with John Boydell on reproductive prints after old masters, notably Rembrandt and Claude Lorrain.

Biography artist: Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) was a Dutch master painter and etcher of the Baroque era, famed for his portraiture, biblical scenes, and exploration of light and human emotion. One of the most influential artists in Western art history.
