Condition: very good, given age. Horizontal crase and old vertical fold line. Some paper loss in top right margin. Light soiling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Herman van Swanevelt (c. 1600-1655) was a Dutch Golden Age painter and printmaker, best known for his landscape etchings. His work combined Italianate landscapes with a distinctly Dutch sensibility, depicting serene, often idealized, views of nature.
