Made by Etienne-Johandier Desrochers after Anonymous.

Medium: Engraving / etching on hand laind (verge) paper.

Sheet size: 18.3 x 24.5 cm (7.2 x 9.65 inch). Image size: 10.2 x 14.7 cm. (4.02 x 5.79 inch).

Condition: very good, given age. Stain in margin left. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Published in France c. 1720.

Biography engraver: Etienne-Jahandier Desrochers (1668-1741) was a French engraver and publisher from Lyon, active in Paris. He and his large workshop produced mainly portraits, 332 of which were published as: ‘Recueil des portraits des personnes qui se sont distingu?s …’.
