Engraving/etching on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 24,5 x 37,5 cm. Image size: 18 x 28 cm.

From: ‘Toonneel van China (…)’, by Athanasius Kircherus (Kircher) ed. published in Amsterdam 1667.

Made by an anonymous engraver after Athanasius Kircher.

Condition: Very good, given age. Some browning in the margins and some spots but only visible on verso. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
