This print shows a view of burning up the ship bridge built by the Duke of Parma in the Scheldt before Antwerp, April 5, 1585. At the top an inset with the bridge intact and a legend 1-9 in Dutch.

Made by after an anonymous artist.

Medium: Engraving / etching on Handlaid (verge) paper.

Sheet size: 38.8 x 28.7 cm (15.28 x 11.3 inch). Image size: 34.8 x 26.8 cm. (13.7 x 10.55 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Fold as published. Two holes been restored. Brownish in middle fold. Thin piece of paper in upper margin. Some creases in corners. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
