(Parrot flower, Parrot lily, Peruvian lily, Lily of the Incas, Princess lily. It is a popular ornamental plant in New Zealand, where it usually blooms at Christmas because that it is also called New Zealand Christmas bell.)

Made by F.J. Desmares after Pierre Auguste Joseph Drapiez (1778-1856).

Engraving with original hand colouring, heightened with arabic gum on wove (vellin) paper.

Sheet size: 17 x 26.5 cm (6.69 x 10.43 inch).

Condition: very good, given age. . General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
