Made by Antonio Canaletto after own design. Giovanni Antonio Canal, named Canaletto (1697-1768) was an Italian painter and print maker. Het is condidered the master of Venetion vedute (views). His major inspration were vedute and capricci of Rome by Giovanni Paolo Pannini His work was very popular amongst foreign visitor’s of Venice.
Condition: Good, given age. Slight paper loss at bottom right margin, backed and not effecting image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
