This original antique plate shows the Battle of Biberach on 2 October 1796 between a French Republican army led by Jean Victor Marie Moreau and a Habsburg Austrian army led by Maximilian Anton Karl, Count Baillet de Latour.

Made by Anonymous after von Rothenburg.

Steel engraving on wove (vellin) paper.

Condition: very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
