This original antique plate shows the Battle of the Katzbach in former Prussia, now Poland on 26 August 1813, a major battle of the Napoleonic Wars between the forces of the First French Empire and a Russo-Prussian army.

Made by F. Biller after von Rothenburg.

Steel engraving on wove (vellin) paper.

Condition: very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
