This attractive print was published in Pieter Christiaensz. Bor: ?Oorsprongk, begin, en vervolgh der Nederlandsche Oorlogen”, Amsterdam, 1679-1684. Published in Amsterdam by Joannes van Someren, Abr.Wolfgangh, Hendrick en Dirck Boom.

Made by ‘Jan Luyken’ after ‘Romeyn de Hooghe’. Jan Luiken / Luyken (1649-1712) belonged to the best engravers of the period. His son Casper (1672-1708) often assisted with the making of the prints.

Condition: Good, given age. Fold as published. Tears in middle and small tears in lower margin been restored. Brownish edges. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
