Published by Johann Ulrich Kraus (1655-1719), who was a german illustrator, engraver and publisher in Augsburg. Provenance: Ex. Coll. Georg Denzel (1873-1959 and Dr. Friedrich Wilhelm Denzel (collection mark: G+W D in circle; not in Lugt), father and son collectors from Munich.

Made by ‘Johann Georg Hertel’ after ‘Giovanni Battista Tiepolo’. Johann Georg Hertel (1719-1768) was a German engraver/printmaker working in Augsburg. Giovanni Battista Tiepolo (Italian; 1696-1770).

Condition: Good, given age. Light staining an soiling, Remains of paper tape on rear from attachment. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
