From an unknown large size work on animals.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after Johann Jakob Haid. Johann Jakob Haid (1704-1767) was a German engraver who worked in Augsburg. His mezzotint engravings are well known – like his entire family is known for their mezzotint portraits.
Condition: Excellent, given age, with wide margins. A few tiny stains in the bottom margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
