Antique print, titled: ”Grondtekening der stad Schiedam.” – (Plan of Schiedam).This plan shows Schiedam in Zuid-Holland, the Netherlands. From: Isaak Tirion’s “Hedendaagsche Historie, of Tegenwoordige Staat van alle volken”.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Isaac Tirion’ after ‘Jacob Kortebrand’. Isaak Tirion, a Dutch publisher in Amsterdam, was born 1705. He produced serveral Atlases and Dutch town plans. The maps mainly based on those of Guillaume de l’Isle. He died in 1765. Jacob Kortebrand (1697-1777) was a Dutch poet and draughtsman in the surroundings of Rotterdam where he was born.
Condition: Good, given age. Original folds as issued. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
