Antique print, titled: ”Markt Eindhoven ca. 1900.” – The market and Sint-Catharinakerk (Church of Saint Catharina) in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, in the year 1920. The etching is signed, dated and titled in the plate, and signed and numbered (10/100) in the lower right. Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Karel Kok’ after an anonymous artist. Karel Kok (active around 1970-1985) was a Dutch etcher from Noordwijk. He often worked after old photographs, calling his method ‘Photographic etching’.
Condition: Excellent, given age. Original pencil notifications below print. Remains of tape from previous attachment on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
