Antique print, titled: ‘Lutzenburgum’ – A map of the city Luxembourg. This map originates from the 1649 edition of ‘Discrittione di tutti i Paesi Bassi’, by L. Guicciardini, published by J. Janssonius. We carry most maps from this book which was published from 1581-1662.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after ‘Author: Lodovico Guicciardini’. The author of the book this old print originates from is Lodovico Guicciardini (1521-1589): an Italian merchant from aristocratic descent.

Condition: Excellent, given age. Original middle folds, as issud. Printer’s crease in middle of print. General age related toning and occasional light staining from handling as visible on image. Please study image carefully.
