IconClass 73D3231.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Adriaen Collaert’ after ‘Joannes Stradanus’. Adriaen Collaert (ca.1560–1618) was a Flemish designer and engraver. He was the son of Jan Collaert I and Anna van der Heijden. He married Justa Galle, the daughter of the man he worked for, Philip Galle. Adriaen Collaert was the brother of Jan Collaert I. Johannus Stradanus (also: Jan van der Straat or Giovanni Stradano, 1523-1605) was a Flanders-born mannerist artist active in 16th century Florence.
