Antique drawing, untitled. Drawing of a lily with stem and leaf. Dated in manuscript No. 3 Mai 1809. A blind stamp at top left with crowned heraldic shield ‘Bristol’ and the initials ‘L.M.’ We doubt this age annotation and believe this wasmade late 19th. C: c. 1890.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘M. de Lance’ after own design. We have been unable to find more about this artist. Any input is welcome. Given a manuscript annotation on the rear: Mathilde de Lance (?).

Condition: Excellent, given age. Edges of the sheet very faintly soiled. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
