Ref: Copy after Hollstein 4.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after ‘Herman van Swanevelt’. Herman van Swanevelt (1600-1654) originated from Woerden, the Netherlands. He went to Italy around 1630 and was profoundly influenced by this trip. He is seen as one the maior Italianate artists from this period.
