This is an original antique print of the Bungo or prefect of Hahodadi, Japan, by Eliphalet Brown. This antique (sepia) lithograph was printed in 1857 ( for ‘Narrative of an Expedition of an American Squadron to the China Seas and Japan by Commodore M.C. Perry in order of the United States navy”, published in NY) and is in fine condition. The overall size is 11,5 x 8,5 inch. The image size is 9 x 6 1/4 inch.
