Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “der boezems van het harde hersenvlies, der inwendige aderen van de hersenen, benevens de afbeelding der aderen van de buikbekleedsels” (the atria of the dura, the internal arteries of the brain, and the veins of the abdomen). Plate XCIII from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
