Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “de banden van het achterste met het sleutelbeen verbondene einde des schouderblads, benevens de banden van het gewricht of de geleding des opperarmbeens” (the ligaments of the rear end of the scapula to the clavicle, and the ligaments of the joint of the upper arm). Plate XXVII, vol. 1, from: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
