Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “de vrucht in hare natuurlijke ligging in de baarmoeder, benevens de borstklier” (the fetus in natural position in the uterus, and mammary gland). Plate VI, vol. 1, from: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
