Carel Rabenhaupt (?) – This scarce original antique print shows the portrait of Carl von Rabenhaupt (Bohemia, 6 January 1602 – Coevorden, 12 August 1675), a Bohemian Hussite nobleman who fought in Saxon, Dutch and Hessian service during the Thirty Years War and came out of retirement to command a Dutch regiment in the Franco-Dutch War.

Sheet size: 18,7 x 24 cm. (7,4 x 9,4 inch). Image size: 15 x 19,4 cm. (5,9 x 7,6 inch).

Source to be determined.

Made by ‘Christian van Hagen’ after ‘Lambert van den Bosch’. Engraver unknown/to be determined Lambert van den Bosch (1620 – 1698), Dutch author.

Condition: Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
