Made by ‘Johann Jakob Haid’ after an anonymous artist. Johann Jakob Haid (1704-1767) was a German engraver who worked in Augsburg. His mezzotint engravings are well known – like his entire family is known for their mezzotint portraits.

Condition: Good, given age. Some minor crinkles or light creases. Light foxing in the margins. Edges reinforced with paper on verso. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
