Two 17th. century Portraits of Maximilian II, Holy Roman Emperor with collar of the Golden Fleece; behind parapet, within lettered oval; Dutch letterpress on verso; from an unidentified Dutch work on history. One of the prints made or published by J. Janssonius. The other print is from c. 1785 and was made by Jan Punt.

Sheet size: 12,2 x 19 cm. (4,8 x 7,5 inch). Image size: 11,8 x 18,3 cm. (4,6 x 7,2 inch).

Source unknown, to be determined.

Made by ‘Jan Punt’ after an anonymous artist. Jan Punt (1711 – 1779), was an 18th-century painter from the Northern Netherlands.

Condition: Good, given age. An occasional minor crease. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
