Made by ‘Hendrik Spilman’ after own design. Hendrik / Henricus Spilman (1721-1784) was a Dutch painter, designer and etcher from Amsterdam, active in Haarlem. He was a pupil of Abraham de Haen II. His style resembles A. van Everdingen and N. Berghem. He made mostly town and city views.
Condition: Good, given age. Light creasing and denting. Horizontal folds in top and bottom margin, not effecting image.Some staining at bottom right. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
