Sheet size: 18,1 x 11,4 cm. (7,1 x 4,5 inch). Image size: 17,7 x 10,9 cm. (7 x 4,3 inch).

Possibly a later impression on vellin. Originally c.1654. Ref: Hollstein Dutch 7 Provenance: Ex. Collection van der Grinten

Made by ‘Willem van Bemmel’ after own design. Willem van Bemmel (1630-1708) was a Dutch landscape painter and etcher from Utrecht. He was a pupil of Herman Saftleven. He travelled and worked in Italy and Germany.

Condition: Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
