Print Description
This print shows a view on a cymbals player of the guard on horseback. The man has an eastern look, as we watch his clothing and tulban. He probably is a Janissary muscician, playing Turkish music. The French army had, between 1800-1830, Turkish music bands with cymbals, drums and bell tree.
